OSSAA ON-LINE TESTING - Aribiter Sports Annual GTOA Membership Requirements GTOA Basketball Front Page News
The OSSAA is now requiring ALL Oklahoma basketball officials to register through Arbiter Sports. This new registration program will allow for centralized tracking of official's activities and further allow for a single-point-of-contact for information distribution regarding high school officiating with any sport. You must register with the Arbiter BEFORE any testing will be available to you.

(Follow the link below for registration & testing)
OSSAA Testing Site (Arbiter Sports)

You must attend at least 50% of the scheduled meetings and have your dues paid to be a member in good standing ($45.00 by May 31st each year or $60.00 after May 31st). If you cannot make 4 meetings, there is an exemption process, but you MUST submit an exemption request letter to the Executive Committee for consideration (it must be a valid reason - family emergency, work conflict, military requirement, medical hardship).

You must also register with the OSSAA on-line through Arbiter Sports and complete the NFHS Part I test. If you do not, you will not be an eligible official for the state of Oklahoma and the GTOA cannot assign you games.
The GTOA Basketball division is dedicated to the teaching, training and development of all officials.

Whether you work for just the GTOA or other associations, it doesn't matter. All we ask is that you keep your availability up to date within Arbiter and never cheat yourself.

The GTOA is always looking to add to our roster of officials but we also understand the competition to receive games.

Should you have questions regarding the basketball division, please don’t hesitate to contact Steve Surles, VP of Basketball, at steve.surles@tulsaofficials.com

Take advantage of summer clinics/camps to improve your game.

Your physical condition including weight, appearance and what type of shape you're in is something only you can control.

Keep in mind you only get one chance to make a first impression.

Stay in the rule books in the off season, to stay up-to-date on new rule changes for the 2015/16 season.
