| Action Shots (posted 8/24/2009) |
| If you get pictures throughout the season of your crew on the field, please be sure to submit them to Todd Ragsdale to publish on our website. We are always looking for crew pictures so that we can get them on our site for all to see. It's always nice for our crews to be able to see each other in action. Have your spouse, children, parents or anyone that may attend your games bring a camera and snap some field action. Get a crew picture before the game, or any aspect of the overall game. Not only is this a good way for all of our members to see you in action, it can also chronicle your career and make for a great scapbook!! |

Officiating takes more than just rules knowledge and mechanics. In today's officiating world, physical fitness and appearance is key to your success, especially if you aspire to move to the next level. Crossfit - Jenks has been working with several GTOA officials on this very issue.
Crossfit - Jenks has a full workout facility located near 91st and Elm in Jenks. Their basis for fitness is a full body workout, Olympic-style weightlifting, running and nutrition. Each workout tasks different areas of your body and many workouts are 3 rounds for time (meaning you complete 3 rounds of different exercises in the quickest time possible). Other exercises include completing 3 different exercise-type rounds, as many as you can do in a 20 minute period. Plus, there is a 30 minute warm-up time that is a complete full-body workout in itself.
This program only takes an hour out of your day and and is great to prepare for the upcoming season as well as a year-round fitness program to keep you healthy and strong. If you have questions or are interested, you can speak with Chad Craig, Todd Ragsdale or Ethan Rolen who are currently enrolled in the program and benefiting from the results! For more information on how you can get into this program, contact the owner of CrossFit - Jenks, BreckBerry@crossfitjenks.com.
